【参考范文】the popularity of micro-blog
in recent years, micro-blog has been more and more popular. precisely（adv 精确地）, micro-blog has become part of people’s life. it seems that everybody has a micro-blog now. they keep blogs to note down what happens to them, to describe their emotions and feelings, and to express opinions on current affairs(时事,新闻).
there are different views regarding this phenomenon(现象). some people think it’s a good idea for college students to keep a blog. they say blogs do not only provide an outlet(出口) for the students’ inner（内心） feelings like traditional diaries（传统的日记）, but also provide a channel（聚道） through which young people can communicate with one another. others think differently. they are afraid that some students have spent too much time on their blogs, trying hard to win clicks and replies. therefore both their academic(学校) work and their everyday(日常) interpersonal（人际） relationships may suffer.
in my opinion, both views are reasonable. while writing blogs are advisable, the students also need to be aware of its potential shortcomings(潜在的缺陷).
