[00:21.44]that China has no world-class university. 
[00:25.09]This comment aroused heated discussion 
[00:28.07]and reveals problems in China’s College Education.
[00:32.94]The following may be the possible reasons: 
[00:35.86]Firstly, the significant increase in entrance rate has, however, 
[00:41.12]aggravated students’ anxiety over their studies. 
[00:45.30]Meanwhile, high school graduates, lack of good self-control 
[00:49.59]and released from the pressure of teachers and parents, 
[00:53.04]study absolutely independently. 
[00:56.41]Another reason is too much emphasis 
[00:59.13]is put on difficult problems, 
[01:01.84]resulting in students’ neglect of basic theories. 
[01:05.53]In addition, the curriculum is too large 
[01:08.69]to be crammed into a 4-year college teaching. 
[01:12.22]The knowledge mastered by most students, 
[01:14.83]therefore is only the tip of an iceberg. 
[01:18.36]My suggestion  
[01:20.18]is that colleges employ a practical-oriented education policy. 
[01:24.71]Students should take part in social practice 
[01:27.75]and get in touch with the outside world.
