Dear editor,
I am writing to inform you of my unhappy experience lately. On June 5 th，I went to buy an Oxford English Dictionary at the Xinhua Bookstore. Unfortunately, when I went home，I was astonished to find that several pages were stained, some were folded, and a few more were even missing.
The following experience is even more disappointing. I immediately went back to the bookstore and managed to find the same shop assistant ，who said that she could do nothin旯 about it and the publisher was the real party to blame. I made great efforts to negotiate，only to be refused to change another copy because I have opened it.
I believe that it is more than necessary for the whole tertiary industry to improve the service quality. Only when the service is
performed properly and satisfactorily can the needs of the customers be satisfied and the national economy be put on the right track.
