Lectures and Discussions
As regards the choice between lectures and discussions, there has been a heated discussion among the college students in campus. Students who lend their support to lectures arfflie that lectures save their time and energy, helping them leam and absorb more quickly. What’s more，their vision can be broadened to get in touch with a more majority of knowledge.
By contrast, others hold that discussions are of greater necessity. According to a recent survey conducted by China Daily，a high proportion (83. 8 percent) of students admit that discussions help them develop the ability to analyze and solve problems, stimulating their creativities. In addition，students’ ability of communication can be enhanced，which is absolutely beneficial to their future career.
As far as I am concerned, both lectures and discussions have respective advantages. The former is better for big class and knowledge-oriented subjects, while the latter is suitable for small class and skill-oriented subjects. (154 词)
