Income Gap
As regards the income gap, there has been a heated discussionamong the general public in our society. Some people hold that the gap is natural because it reflects different contributions that different people make in their work. In their view, those people who work harder, bring higher efficiency，and create more wealth，deserve a much higherpay.
By contrast，others view this gap negatively. According to a recent survey conducted by China Daily，a high proportion (56. 7 percent) of people believe that a lot of crimes happen as a result of this income gap. In fact，experts have long found out that most cases of crime are directly related to low income. What’s more，income gap may destroy the satisfaction that they obtain from work.
The income gap has a significant impact on the whole society. This gap may motivate people to devote to their work. When this gap is growing too wide, however, our government should make some policies to get rid of its negative consequences. (170 词）
