Relationship Between Major and Future Job
It，s a striking fact that there isn’t necessary relationship between one，s major and job. According to a recent survey conducted by CCTV, a high proportion (56.5 percent) of people admit that they consider little of their major when choosing jobs.
To account for this phenomenon, people have come up with vari-ous reasons listed below? To begin with，due to the rapid development of technology, the knowledge from textbooks often lags behind the real need, so many employers pay more attention to the job candidates， practical abilities than to their major knowledge. What’s more, when choosing a major to study, many actually don’t know exactly where it directs them to. However，when stepping into society, they may find that what they leam isn’t what they are interested in and therefore may switch to a job that doesn’t relate much to their major.
As for me，one should adapt himself to working environment by adjusting his own knowledge and information system. Pursuit of knowl-edge and ability should never be ceased. ( 169 词）
