How Do People Spend Their Holidays?
The above graph presents the change on the way people spend their holidays during the time from the year 2000 to 2005. As indica-ted in the table，the past five years has witnessed a steady increase in the percentage of traveling from 76 percent to 83 percent and a slight drop in the percentage of staying at home from 24 percent to 17 percent.
To account for this phenomenon, people have come up with various reasons listed below. In the first place, more Chinese people are wealthy enough to afford the expenses of traveling because of the re-form and opening policy. What’s more，the longer holidays enable them to have much sufficient time to travel home and abroad, with an aim to enrich life and broaden vision.
