The Global Equipment Donation Programmer.

Rockwell Automation donates equipment to educational institutions, providing students with an opportunity to learn in hands-on labs. The goals of the programmer are threefold: to expose students to high-tech products and to form advanced technology partnerships with these educational institutions. Rockwell Automation sales representatives also use these global labs as a resource for teaching customers how to install and use products. Company research is conducted at these facilities with the help of the university’s faculty and students.

The programmer, dating back to 1996, established a formal application process last year. Over 125 equipment donations have been made in more than 17 countries.
