点评

1“行为举止”有点重复，因为举止本来就是行为举动的意思。我们一般说“言谈举止”。

2. to beat sb. to the punch/draw是美国俚语，意思是“抢在某人之前行动”或“抢在某人之前拔出武器”。因此，这里改译为“抢在了前头”。请看例子：

john was going to apply for the job, but ted beat him to the punch.
约翰准备申请那个职位，可特德却抢在前面。
