The riverside pavilion overlooks the sand;

江城草阁俯渔矶，

Green peaks are lost where thousands of snow-crowned hills stand.

雪满千山失翠微。

I laugh to point at the treetip where hangs cloud white，

笑指白云来树杪，

Without knowing it is only a sail in flight.

不知却是片帆飞。
