The Lotus-picking Girl(2) to the tune of Light Pink
Back is a boat from plucking lotus on the lake,
The wind caressing her green skirt opaque,
At the music of a lute she sheds tears, silent and wan,
Longing for the return of her man.
Now all lotuses wither again, yet no word from him.
Cooler and cooler in the evening dim,
Looking afar, she sees everywhere
Red ducks and white egrets always fly in pair.
