Wind sifts through the curtain with a moan,
帘外风筛，
The cold moonlight sprinkles the outside step stone,
凉月满闲阶。
The candle's gone out on its silver stand,
烛灭银台，
The perfumed smoke envelops the tripod precious and grand.
宝鼎篆烟埋。
Drunk, it's hard for me to understand why,
醉魂儿难挣挫，
Restless, I try my best to be in spirits high.
精彩儿强打捱。
Why, why do you fail to come?
那里每来，
Somewhere for comments on poetry you make?
你取闲论诗才；
Right, right, then another lover I'll take.
台，定当的人来赛。
