Yao Sui (1238-1313) styled Duanfu, also known by his literary name Mu'an, was born in Luoyang, Henan Province. An eminent prose writer of the Yuan dynasty, Yao has left only limited produce of Sanqu poetry. However, in these songs he depicts fluently personal sentiments and amorous love. Yao was paralleled with Lu Zhi by his contemporaries.

Every day there must violent waves be.
