Zhu Lianxiu (1264-?) Zhu Lianxiu was the stage name of a famous play actress in the reign of Shizu Emperor of Yuan dynasty whose family name was Zhu. It was said that she was the foremost actress of her age. Because she was the fourth child of her family, she was commonly called "Zhu the Fourth Sister". A short single song and a play of hers have survived. Her writing was characterized by lively and minute description and sadly moving style.
珠帘秀（1264-？）姓朱，艺名珠帘秀。元世祖时著名的杂剧女演员，号称“当今独上下”。行四，人称朱四姐。今存小令一首，套数一套，曲辞生动，描写细腻，格调凄婉。
