Winter to the shortened tune of Liangzhou the Frontier
Eager for the evening so that I can pray,
By burning the fragrant incense in a jar.
Tears falling down my face ever since he is away,
To the mountains pass so far,
Sleeping with the single pillow I am left alone.
Oh, heaven, please do not make his return postpone,
I don't know when back he will be,
But hope God will have pity on me,
Giving people as more favor as He can,
So that separate couples on earth can enjoy to the degree
That I can too enjoy a union with my man.
