Ju Jingchen (1303-?) alias Shunchen, styled Jingxian, was born in Yang-zhou. Ju was a diligent student ever since his childhood, but did not go very far in his official career. A fan of music, he was also a playwright, though none of his plays have survived. Three sequences of Sanqu poems have been preserved.
雎景臣（1303-？）一作舜臣，字景贤，扬州人。自幼好学，然仕途不得志。嗜音律，有杂剧行世，皆不传。散曲仅存套数三篇。

Red-lacquered are two-pronged pikes clean,
〔五煞〕红漆了叉，
Silver-plated are axes keen,
银铮了斧，
Gilded axe melons bitter and sweet,
甜瓜苦瓜黄金渡。
At the tip of spears are carried shiny stirrups neat.
明晃晃马镫枪尖上挑，
Fans are made of goose quill like white snow.
白雪雪鹅毛扇上铺。
These strangers hold some implements we never know,
这几个乔人物，拿着些不曾见的器仗，
And wear all kinds of bizarre clothes from head to toe.
穿着些大作怪衣服。
