Ju Jingchen (1303-?) alias Shunchen, styled Jingxian, was born in Yang-zhou. Ju was a diligent student ever since his childhood, but did not go very far in his official career. A fan of music, he was also a playwright, though none of his plays have survived. Three sequences of Sanqu poems have been preserved.
雎景臣（1303-？）一作舜臣，字景贤，扬州人。自幼好学，然仕途不得志。嗜音律，有杂剧行世，皆不传。散曲仅存套数三篇。

When the tall man gets off the carriage,
〔五〕那大汉下的车，
Every one to him pays homage.
众人施礼数，
But the man behaves as if nobody caught his eye,
那大汉觑得人如无物。
Village elders all bend their knees and prostrate before him lie.
众乡老展脚舒腰拜，
The tall fellow pretends to help them stand up.
那大汉挪身着手扶。
All of a sudden I raise my head and look up;
猛可里抬头觑，
By watching him closely for some time who he is I know.
觑多时认得，
How my bosom almost burst with anger and woe!
险气破我胸脯。
