Wang Yuanding about whom little is known, was listed in the Records of Ghosts (Tianyige edition) as a " Imperial Student". Seven short lyrics and two song sequences of his have survived.
王元鼎 生平不详，天一阁本《录鬼薄》称他为“学士”。现存小令七首，套数二篇。

The moon is full, my man is out of sight.
