How annoying you are, the cuckoo bird,
堪恨无情杜宇，
How cruelly wounds my heart your singing word;
你怎么伤人心绪：
Your calling makes flowers fade,
啼的花残，
And evokes grief in the blade,
叫的愁来，
And sends spring away.
唤将春去。
Why don't you tell the travelling man today,
索甚不把离人叮咛嘱咐，
Saying "better be back, not at the earth's end stay!"
我也道在天涯不如归去。
