苏厉为周（最）谓苏秦
Su Li Had a Talk with Su Qin on Behalf of Zhou Ju
【原文】
苏厉为周（最）谓苏秦曰广君不如令王听（最），以地合于 魏，赵故必怒，合于齐。是君以合齐与强楚吏产子。君若欲因（最）之事，则合齐者君也，割地者（最）也。”
【今译】
苏厉替周（最）对苏秦说广您不如让赵王听从周（最）的建 议，割让土地给魏国。赵囯一定非常恼怒，就会跟齐国交好。这样一 来，就是您通过联合齐国而与强大的楚国结为长期联盟。您如果趁机 促成周（最）提议的事情，那么立下合齐功劳的就是您，而割让土地 的就是周（最）。”
Su Li had a talk with Su Qin on behalf of Zhou Ju, He said? “You’d better tell the king of the state of Zhao to take Zhou Ju’s advice to cede some land to the state of Wei. Thus the state of Zhao will be very angry and will ally with Qi. So it will be you that establish alliance with the powerful Chu by allying with Qi. If you take occasion to urge the king to take Zhou Ju\s advice，you will be the one safeguarding the state of Qi, and Zhou Ju will be the one ceding land to another state."
