Someone Had a Talk with Qi‘s King
【原文】
谓齐王曰王何不以地赍周（最）以为太子也？”齐王令司马悍 以赂进周（最）于周，左尚谓司马悍臼周不听，是公之知困而交 绝于周也。公不如谓周君曰：‘何欲置？令人微告悍，悍请令王进之以 地。“左尚以此得事。
【今译】
有人对齐王说：“大王何不送给周（最）一些土地来资助他做太子呢？”齐王派司马悴向西周进献土地来举荐周（最）。左尚对司马 悍说如果西周不听从您的建议，您的计谋就会受挫，而且还会断绝了 跟西周的交情.您不如对西周国君说:"您想立谁为太子呢？派人暗地 里告诉我，我请求齐王奉送给他一些土地."左尚因此得以在齐受到重 用。

Please send someone lo inform me of your decision (after you make up your mind) so that I can ask the king of Qi to present him some land to enrich him. ”，Owing to this useful adivce, Zuo Shang was appointed to a powerful position in the government of Qi.
