靖郭君谓齐王
Lord Jingguo Had a Talk with Qi's King
【原文】
靖郭君谓齐卫曰广五官之计，不可不日听也而数览。”王曰：“说五 而厌之。”（今 )[令]与靖郭君。
【今译】
靖郭君对齐王说：“五个政府部门的计划，不可不每天都听取并阅 览几遍务王说：“一说到这五个部门的事情，我就感到厌烦。”于是下 令把这些事情都交给靖郭君处理。
Lord Jingguo had a talk with the king of the state of Qi and said, “Regarding the files of those five government departments, you should make the officials in charge report to you and also examine them youself. ” The king said, “It is always tiresome to talk about this, ” Then he appointed Lord Jingguo to handle these government affairs for him.
