韩齐为与国
Han and Qi Made an Alliance
【原文】
韩、齐为与国，张仪以秦、魏伐韩。齐王曰广韩，吾与国也。秦伐 之，吾将救之。”田臣思曰：“王之谋过矣！不如听之。子哙与子之国，百 姓不戴，诸侯弗与。秦伐韩，楚、赵必救之，是天（下）以燕赐我也。”王 “善。”乃许韩使者而遣之。
【今译】
韩国和齐国是盟国，张仪让秦囯和魏国的军队攻打韩国。齐王说: “韩国是我们的盟国。秦国进攻它，我将要援救它。”田臣思说大王的 谋略是错误的！不如听任秦国攻打它算了.子哙跟子之掌管燕国，老 百姓不拥戴他们，诸候不跟它结交。秦军进攻韩国1楚国和赵国一定会 救援它的，这是上天把燕国赏賜给我们啊齐王说广说得好。”于是答 应韩国使者出兵增援，然后就把他打发走了。

Thus Heaven will bestow the state of Yan on us. ” The king said, “Good idea. ” He then promised the emissary from Han that Qi would assist Han and sent him back.
【原文】
韩白以得交于齐，遂与秦战。楚、赵果遽起兵而救韩，齐因起兵攻 燕，二十日而举燕国。
【今译】
韩国自以为得到齐国援助，于是就跟秦国军队开战。楚国和赵国果然起兵营救韩国，齐国趁机起兵进攻燕国，三十天后就攻克了燕国。
