Qi Was Going to Attack Wei
【原文】
齐欲伐魏。淳于髡谓齐王曰韩子庐者，天下之疾犬也；东郭逡 者，海内之狡兔也。韩子庐逐东郭逡，环山者三，腾山者五，兔极于前, 犬废于后，犬兔俱罢，各死其处.田父见之，无劳倦之苦而擅其功。今 齐、魏久相持，以顿其兵，弊其众，臣恐强秦、大楚承其后，有田父之功 齐王惧，谢将休士也。
【今译】
齐国将要攻打魏国。淳于髡对齐王说广韩子庐是炎下跑得最快的 狗，东郭逡是世上最敏捷的兔子。韩子庐追逐东郭逡，绕过了三道山， 翻过了五座山，兔子在前面拼命跑，狗在后面竭力追，最后兔子和狗都 筋疲力尽，死在地上。农夫发现了它们，没费任何力气就把它们捕获。 如今齐国和魏国相持不下，士卒困顿，百姓疲惫，我担心强大的秦国和 楚国会在后面等着，获取农夫的利益齐王害怕了，于是停止用兵。
