齐人见田骈
A Man from Qi Visited Tian Pian
【原文】
齐人见田骈，曰闻先生高议，设为不宦，而愿为役。”田骈曰子何闻之？”对曰广臣闻之邻人之女。”田骈曰：“何谓也？ ”对曰广臣邻人之 女，设为不嫁，行年三十而有七子。不嫁则不嫁，然嫁过毕矣！今先生 设为不宦，訾养千钟，徒百人。不宦则然矣，而富过毕也！”田子辞。
【今译】
齐国有一个人去见田骈，对他说：“我听说了先生的高论，号称不做官，而愿意被人役使。”田骈问您从哪里听说的？”那人回答说广我从 邻居家的女儿那里听到的。”田骈问她是怎么说的？”那人固答道我 邻居家的女儿说是不嫁人，已经三十岁了，却有七个孩子。虽然还没有 出嫁，然而比出嫁的女子生的孩子还多呢！如今先生您说是不做官，却 享受着千钟的体禄，役使着上百个仆从。虽然不做官，却比做官的人还 富有呢！”田骈向他道歉。
