Qin Attacked Yiyang
【原文】
秦伐宜阳。楚王谓陈轸曰寡人闻韩（侈）[棚]巧士也，习诸侯事，殆能自免也。为其必免，吾欲先据之以加德焉。”陈轸对“舍之，王勿 据也！以韩（侈）[倔]之知，于此困矣！今山泽之兽，无黠于麋。麋知猎 者张罔前而驱己也，因还走而冒人，至数，猎者知其诈，伪举罔而进之, 麋因得矣,今诸侯明知此多诈，伪举罔而进者必众矣。舍之，王勿据 也！韩（侈）[棚]之知，于此闲矣！”楚王听之，宜阳果拔。陈轸先知之 也。
【今译】
秦国军队进攻宜阳。楚王对陈轸说我听说韩（侈）[価]是个机智 的人，熟悉诸侯之间的事情，能自免于危亡。因为他必定能免于危亡，我想先占领宜阳来对他施加恩德厂陈轸回答说广放弃这个想法吧，大 王不要占领宜阳。尽管韩（侈）[傰]机智，到了这一步也走投无路了 ,如今山泽之中的野兽没有比麋子更狡猾的了,麋子知道猎人在前面张 起了网，然后驱赶自己，就掉头往回跑并且撞着了人。几次反复后，猎 人知道它狡诈，就假装张起了网而靠近它，于是麋子就被捕获了。如今 诸侯明知他很狡诈，假装张网靠近他的一定会很多。放弃这个想法吧， 大王不要占领宜阳。即便韩（侈）[僩]机智，到了这一步也走投无路 了。”楚王听从了陈轸的劝告，宜阳果然被攻克了,陈轸事先就预见到 了这一点.
