楚王后死
The Queen of Chu Died
【原文】
楚王后死，未立后也，谓昭鱼曰公何以不请立后也？”昭鱼曰: “王不听，是知困而交绝于后也然则，[何]不买五双珥，令其一善而 献之王？明日，视善珥所在，因请立之
【今译】
楚国的王后死了，还没有立新的王后。有人对昭鱼说您何不请 大王立王后呢？”昭鱼说如果大王不听我的，我的谋划就会落空，而且 还会彻底得罪新王后既然如此，为何不买五副耳环，其中的一副异 常精美，把它们献给大王？第二天看看那副最精美的戴在谁身上，就请 求立她为王后。”
The queen of the state of Chu died and the new queen was still not nominated.
