齐明说卓滑以伐秦
Qi Ming Advised Zhuo Hua to Attack Qin
【原文】
齐明说卓滑以伐秦，滑不听也。齐明谓卓滑曰广明之来也，为樗里 疾卜交也。明说楚大夫以伐秦，皆受明之说也，唯公弗受也。臣有辞以 报樗里子矣。”卓滑因重之。
【今译】
齐明劝说卓滑攻打秦国，卓滑没有听从。齐明对卓滑说我来这 里，是为樗里疾试探交情e我劝说楚国的大夫进攻秦国，他们都接受了 我的意见，只有您不接受。我有话禀报樗里疾了。”卓滑因此而重视齐 明的话。
Qi Ming advised Zhuo Hua to attack the state of Qin， but Zhuo Hua didn’t listen to him. Then Qi Ming told Zhuo Hua, “I came here to test the relationship between you people and Chu Liji. I have persuaded the high-ranking court officials of Chu to attack Qin, and all of them have agreed to take my advice. You are the only one rejecting me. I will report it to Chu Liji. ” Zhuo Hua then attached importance to Qi Ming’s advice.
