【原文】
天下合从。赵使魏加见楚春申君，曰君有将乎？”春申君曰:“有 矣，仆欲将临武君。”魏加曰：“匣少之时好射，臣愿以射譬之，可乎？”春 申君曰：‘可。”加曰异日者，更羸与魏王处京台之下，仰见飞鸟。更羸 谓魏王曰：为王引弓虚发而下鸟。’魏王臼：‘然则射可至此乎？’更羸 曰：‘可。’有间，雁从东方来，更贏以虚发而下之。魏王曰夕然则射可至 此乎！’更嬴曰：‘此孽也王曰：“先生何以知之？，对曰：‘其飞徐而鸣 悲。飞徐者，故疮痛也；鸣悲者，久失群也。故疮未息而惊心未（至）[去]也。闻弦音，引而高飞，故疮[裂而]陨也。’今临武君尝为秦孽，不 可为拒秦之将也！”
【今译】
