Qin and Han Besieged Liang
【原文】
秦、韩围梁，燕、赵救之。谓山阳君曰：“秦战而胜三国，秦必过周、 韩而有梁；三国而胜秦，三国之力虽不足以攻秦，足以拔郑。计者不如 构三国攻秦."
【今译】
秦国和韩国的军队围困了魏国都城大梁，燕国和赵国派兵营救。 有人对山阳君说秦军如果能战胜魏、燕、赵三个国家，秦国必定会越 过周国和韩国占领大梁；如果这三个国家战胜秦国，它们的军事力量虽 然不足以进攻秦国，但是足以攻破韩国。为您着想，不如联合这三个国 家一起进攻秦国。”
