The Troops of Qi Attacked Song but Lord Fengyang Was Against the War
【原文】
齐攻宋，奉阳君不欲。客谓奉阳君曰君之春秋髙矣，而封地不 定，不可不熟图也。秦之贪，韩、魏危，（卫）[燕]、楚（正）[僻]，中山之地薄，宋罪重，齐怒深，残伐乱宋，定身封,德强齐.此百代之一时也。”
【今译】
齐国进攻宋国，赵国的奉阳君不同意。有人劝说奉阳君道您年 事已高了，但是封地却没有确定下来，不能不详细谋划一下啊，秦国非常贪婪.如果您的封地定在韩国和魏国，就有被秦国吞并的危琀；定在 楚国和燕国，就很偏僻；定在中山国，那里的土地很贫瘠。宋国罪孽深重，如果讨伐混乱的宋国，可以在宋国的疆域里确定您的封地，又能让 强大的齐国感激您，这是百代难得的机会啊。”
