The Troops of the States of Han, Zhao and Wei Defeated the Zhis
【原文】
三晋已破智氏，将分其地。段规谓韩王曰分地必取成皋。”韩王 曰成皋，石溜之地也，寡人无所用之。”段规曰不然，臣闻一里之厚 而动千里之权者，地利也；万人之众而破三军者，不意也。王用臣言，则 韩必取郑矣。”王曰善。”果取成皋。至韩之取郑也，果从成皋始。
【今译】
韩、赵、魏三国军队消灭了智伯的势力以后，将要瓜分他的土地。 段规对韩王说分割土地一定要争取得到成皋。”韩王说成皋是水分 立即流失的石头地，我要了它没有什么用处段规说不是这样的^ 我听说拥有一里的地盘，就能牵动上千里的地方，是因为地形有利；一 支一万人的军队可以击敗敌人的大军，是因为出其不意。大王采纳我 的建议，韩国就一定能夺取郑国。”韩王说好。”果然争取到了成本。 韩国占领郑国，果然是从取得成皋开始的。

If Your Majesty take my advice, our state will definitely occupy the territory of the state of Zheng. ” The king said，“Good idea"，He then took over Chenggao as expected. From then cm，Han accumulated its power，defeated and occupied the state of Zheng.
