Zheng Qiang Drove Zhang Yi Out of Qin
【原文】
郑强之走张仪于秦，仪之使者必之楚矣。故谓大宰曰公留仪 之使者，强请西图仪于秦。”故因而请秦王曰,”张仪使人致上庸之地，故 使使臣再拜谒秦王。”秦王怒，张仪走。
【今译】
郑强打算把张仪从秦国驱逐出去，对秦国说：“张仪一定派自己人 到楚国去了。”特意对楚国太宰说您留下张仪派来的人，请让我向西 到秦国去图谋张仪。”所以趁机对秦王说张仪派人把上庸地区送给了 楚国，特意派我为使者来行两次礼禀报秦王。”秦王生气了，张仪出逃，
Zheng Qiang wanted to drive Zhang Yi out of the state of Qin，so firstly he told the king of Qin that Zhang Yi must have sent a messenger to the state of Chu, Then he purposely told the prime minister of Chu，“Please detain Zhang Yi’s messenger. I will go westwards to Qin and scheme against Zhang Yi. ” Then he told the king of Qin, “Zhang Yi has sent someone to give up the region of Shangyong to the state of Chu. Hence he has sent me here to report this fact to you,” The king of Qin was vexed and as a result，Zhang Yi fled from Qin.
