Ling Xiang Had a Talk with Han Jiu
【原文】
冷向谓韩咎曰广几瑟亡在楚，楚王欲复之甚，令楚兵十余万在方城之外。臣请令楚筑万家之都于雍氏之旁，韩必起兵以禁之，公必将矣。 公因以楚、韩之兵奉几瑟而内之郑。几瑟得人而德公，必以韩、楚奉公 矣,，
【今译】
冷向对韩咎说：“几瑟逃亡到了楚国，楚王很想帮助他回国，命令楚国的十多万大军紧逼方城D请允许我让楚国在雍氏旁边修筑一个拥有 一万户人家的都邑，韩国一定会起兵阻止这一举动，您一定会被任命为 大将的。您趁机利用楚国和韩国的军队护送几瑟回到郑都。几瑟能够 回国，就会感激您，一定会用韩国和楚国来侍奉您的。”
Ling Xiang had a talk with Han Jiu (referring to Childe Jiu) and said，“Ji Se has fled and is staying in the state of Chu, and the king of Chu sincerely wishes to help him return to our state. So by his command, more than a hundred thousand soldiers have approached the city of Fangcheng, Please let me tell the king of Chu to build a city big enough to accommodate ten thousand families near Yongshi.
