安邑之御史死
The Yushi of the County of An Died
【原文】
安邑之御史死，其次恐不得也。输人为之谓安令曰公孙綦为人 请御史于王，王曰：‘彼固有次乎！吾难败其法。因遽置之。

The Yushi of the county of An died，and the vice Yushi was worried that he might not obtain this position, A man from the neighbourhood of Shu visited the chief of An on the vice Yushi，s behalf and said, “Gongsun Qi went to see His Majesty to recommend someone to be the new Yushi. But His Majesty said，‘Isn’t there a vice Yushi? It is very difficult for me to re-arrange the fixed rule for appointing officers there. ”，Then the vice Yushi was immediately appointed to be the new Yushi.
