Wei's King Held a Meeting in Jiuli
【原文】
魏王为九里之盟，且复天子。房喜谓韩王曰：“勿听之也。大国恶 有天子，而小国利之。王与大国弗听，魏安能与小国立之？”
【今译】
魏王主持九里的会盟，即将重新拥戴天子。房喜对韩王说：“不要 听他的。大的国家讨厌立夭子，而小的国家可以从中获利。大王和其 他大的国家不听从，魏国怎能和小的国家一起拥立天子呢？”
In order to re-establish the Son of Heaven, the king of the state of Wei held a meeting in the area of Jiuli. Fang Xi had a talk with the king of the state of Han and said, “Don’t listen to him. Big states hate the existence of a Son of Heaven，but small states can benefit from it. If you and other big states refuse to take his advice, how will the state of Wei be able to reestablish the Son of Heaven together with some other small states?”
