神医？骗子？正当“中医养生专家”张悟本大红大紫之际，突然传出其学历、行医资质、专家资质都涉嫌造假的消息，悟本堂也因违章建筑被拆除，甚至还有人指责他是“疯狂的绿豆”的幕后推手。

47岁的北京退休纺织工人（张悟本）自去年开始在讲座中大肆散布他“神奇”的饮食疗法。此外，尽管咨询费高达两千元人民币（294美元），还要等候数月才能轮到，仍有数千名病人前往张悟本的诊所寻求饮食疗法。
文中的diet regimen和food therapy都是指“饮食疗法”，也就是“食疗”，也称作dietary therapy，即利用食物来治病，防病。regimen在这里指“养生之道、养生法”。
张悟本自称为diet therapist（食疗专家），但其实属于illegal medical practice（非法行医），其行骗场所“悟本堂”也被定为unauthorized construction（违章建筑）。traditional chinese medicine（中医）是一门博大精深的理论，例如现在流行的acupuncture（针灸疗法）tuina massage（推拿按摩）等都是中医的治疗手法，但大家求医需要到正规医院。
