上海迪斯尼乐园4月8日举行动土仪式，预计2014至2015年落成，每年接待游客人次约730万人。上海迪斯尼建成后，将成为全球第六个迪斯尼主题乐园，届时中国将成为除美国本土以外，全球唯一拥有两个迪斯尼乐园的国家。

据迪斯尼公司的消息，上海迪斯尼乐园于周五开工，当天早上举行了动土仪式。该工程预计要花费245亿元（合37亿美元）。
从上面的报道我们可以知道ground-breaking ceremony就是“动土仪式”。ground-breaking在其他语境中还可以表示“开创的；创新的；革新的”，例如：this is a ground-breaking research in biochemistry.（这在生物化学领域一个开创性的研究。）与动土仪式同期举行的一般还有foundation stone laying ceremony（奠基仪式），在建筑建成使用时还会举行ribbon cutting ceremony（剪彩仪式）。
disney amusement park（迪斯尼乐园）是一家theme park（主题公园），乐园中有许多著名的动画形象，如donald duck（唐老鸭）和daisy duck（黛丝）、goofy（高飞）、pluto（布鲁托），当然，还有mickey mouse（米老鼠）和minnie mouse（米妮）。
