John:Did you get a nice tree?
约翰：你买到二棵漂亮的树了吗？
Ada:Sure did.It's a beauty.Where do you want it?

John:Let's put it over there.
约翰：就摆在那儿吧。
Ada:Let's go to work.We want to have the tree ready to light up vby evening.

John:Let's string the lights first.Then we won't have to mess up the decora-tions.
约翰：我们先把小灯泡系上，这样就不会和其他的装饰品缠在一起了。
Ada:Hand me some globes and paper flowers,I'll put them on these top branches.
艾达：递给我一些彩球和纸花，我把它们放在高处的树枝上。

Ada:Let's switch the.lights on.
艾达：插上电源试试看。
John:OK.Heree goes.

Ada:Well,I guess we're all set for another merry Christmas.

Gavin:Are you ready for the Christmas party tonight?

Bella:Almost.I have to get dressed.lt's a formal party and I have special party make-up!

Gavin:Use this lipstick and it will make your lips shine!

Bella:Great! Uh,remember that there's a gift exchange,too.We all have to bring a gift.
