Mary:Are you planning to go to Egypt in the near future?

Kate:Maybe. Do we need a visa?

Mary:Yes, You will need a visa. And the cost and procedure are dependent on your nationality. For example, if the applicant is an American, he or she will have to pay 15 USD per person upon their arrival.

Kate:That is weird for different nationalities with different rules.

Kate:What if I want to take a cruise to Egypt? Can I get the visa when we arrive or do we need to wait and get it ahead of time at an Egyptian cosulate before we depart on the cruise?

Mary:As far as I know, you can get your visa at the port.
