真实条件句
真实条件句主要用于讨论一般事实，或是在某种情况下大部分时间为真实的事情。
例：It’s pretty much always true that if it rains, stuff gets wet.
如果下雨，一般东西都会被淋湿。
很容易造真实条件句，因为所有动词都是现在时。使用两个从句，第一个if+一般现在时动词，第二个也用一般现在时动词。
例：If students miss an exam, the professor fails them.
如果学生错过了考试，教授会让他们挂科。
也可以把两个从句位置调换。
例：The professor fails students if they miss an exam.
这种句式也可以用来在某种情况下给予指示。
例：If I’m (I am) late for dinner, start eating without me.
如果我晚饭来晚了，就不用等我开餐了。
