In the bar were some of my friends.

A guy coming in with John came to talk to me.
和约翰来的那个男生过来和说话。
What a nice guy he was! And he talked very elegantly.
那男生人说话相当优雅，挺不错的。
However, no sooner had the guy started talking with me than I started to get nervous. I think he had a bad impressionof me.
