说男女交往，go together等于香港人说的「拍拖」，也可能指两人有性关系，
例如﹕i wouldn't try to date her if i were you. do you know that she's been going together with the boss's son for the last two years?
（我是你，就不会尝试约她外出。你知不知道，过去两年，她和老板的儿子相恋？）
有时，你还会看到go steady这说法，意思是「有一个固定的情侣」，
例如﹕she is going steady with a former classmate
（她有一个固定的男友，是她的旧同学）。
to go for it则是「不再顾虑，努力去做某件事」。这句话常用来鼓励人家，例如﹕if you want to be a pianist, go for it.（假如你想做钢琴家，那就不要犹豫，努力追求这个目标吧）。
留意it was such a beautiful wedding这一句，可以用so改写﹕it was so beautiful a wedding。such和so都有加强语气的作用，不过，其后的一句and they chose such lovely music，却不可改为and they chose so lovely music，因为music是不可数名词（uncountable noun），不可冠以a或an，而so之后的名词，一定要用a或an带出。所以，and they chose such lovely music一语，用so改写，名词就必须改置于so之前﹕and the music they chose was so lovely。
