加文问成田机场和离婚有什么关系﹕what's that got to do with divorce? 按have (got) to do with是「和……有关」的意思，偶然也作be (即is、was等) to do with，例如﹕(1) his business is/has to do with investment（他从事投资业务）。(2) how my work is getting on is/has nothing to do with you（我工作进展怎样，和你无关）。
新婚夫妇的「蜜月」，当然是英文honeymoon的直译，但honeymoon一字是怎样来的？这有两个说法。一是根据古日耳曼风俗，新婚的头三十天，夫妇天天喝点蜜糖，可保持关系甜蜜；而旧式英语常以moon指月份，等于month，例如﹕her husband promised to return in three moons（她丈夫答应三个月之后回来）。另一说法则是moon不指月份，而是指月亮﹕月亮时盈时缺，就如夫妻甜蜜的感情时浓时淡。
从前，新婚夫妇度蜜月，很少去外国游玩；今天，不去外国一游，似乎就不算度蜜月。honeymoon的含义，多少已经变了。
现在请读者回答以下问题﹕「他们去伦敦度蜜月」，英文是they went to london on their honeymoon还是they went to london for their honeymoon？两个说法其实都正确。on their honeymoon表示「在蜜月期间」，for their honeymoon则有「为度蜜月而去」的意思。当然，以下一句，就不能用for︰many brides only start to get to know their husbands on the honeymoon。
