要大家用英文来表达“怀孕”,你想到的第一个词就是pregnant吧,例如:i was eight months pregnant at the time. 当然如果你觉得这个词有点难度,可以用最简单的方式来表达:she is going to have a baby. / she is going to be a mother. / she is carrying a child.
she has a bun in the oven.
she is up the duff.
she is knocked up.
“让某人怀孕”可以说:knock [her] up.
she is "expecting".
she is "in a delicate condition".
she is "well-along".
she is about to have a "blessed event".
she is about to be "in a family way".(她不久就要走向“家庭之路”。)
she is "in trouble".
