拒绝；降低音量

turn down 在作“拒绝”时，英文的解释就是 refuse。这个短语除了可以用来“拒绝别人”，也可以说 turn down (something)。例如，当别人问你：“你可以拒绝这一大笔钱吗？”英文就是 could you turn down such a huge
ampunt of money?
turn down 还可以指“调低音量”，或是像其他诸如冷气、暖气等电器用品调小；例如把暖气开关调小就是 turn down the heater。另外，像是“如果太冷，你可以把冷气调小。”英文是 you can turn down the ac (air conditioner) if it's too cold。
