go together 除了指“一起去（某地）外”，go together 还有一个意思和 go well 相同，通常用于指颜色、服饰等搭配得很好；另外 go together 也可指两样东西是要放在一起不能拆开的，例如上面例句中的袜子。如果是两样不一样的东西很相配，则要用 go with 这个短语。例如，“这个包包很配这套衣服”英文就是 this bag goes with this suit，而不是 this bag goes together with this suit.
