1.T: In our daily life, we often use adverbs of manners to express more information, then how to make up adverbs of manners? Elicit Ss’ answers on the Bb to arouse Ss’ interest on the suffix –ly and formulate the rule : ‘how’ questions.
A. 定义：表示说话者行事方式的副词,常用来回答“how”问句。
B. 构成：大部分由形容词＋ly变来。 e.g. quiet—quietly. happily
C. 运用：放在动词(短语)后表示行事的方式。
Ss practice the part as a brainstorming activity. Work out rules and try to memorize them well.
