1. in danger处于险境，反义短语为be out of danger。
Real friends should help each other when they are in danger.
真正的朋友应当在危难之时彼此帮助。
The patient has been out of danger. 这个病人已脱离危险。
比较：be dangerous “危险的，有危害的”。
Mum told me t keep away from David who was dangerous.

2. die out
1) (of families, species, etc) no longer have any members left alive（指家族、物种等）死灭绝
