i’m very glad to tell you something about the daily teaching and learning in our school. my name is li hua, chairman of the students’ union. teaching and learning activities are held in large classes. the average student number in each class is about 65. the large class size undoubtedly results from a shortage of teachers, which is caused by large population and weak economy.
in addition to morning reading and evening tutoring, there are 7 classes a day, 4 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, with a break of 2.5 hours at noon.
